Aims

The Poultry Science and Biotechnology (Poult Sci Biotechnol; PSB) is dedicated to the publication and dissemination of scholarly research in all areas of poultry science. Since its foundation in 1973, the journal has built a long and distinguished history and has played an important role in advancing poultry scholarship and supporting the development of the poultry industry in Korea. The journal aims to provide an international forum for the communication of basic and applied research findings that enhance scientific understanding of poultry biology, health, production, and products. Through rigorous peer review and academic exchange, our journal contributes to the advancement of poultry science and continues its commitment to serving both the academic community and the poultry industry in Korea and beyond.

Scope

The scope of the journal encompasses a wide spectrum of poultry-related disciplines, including embryology, biochemistry, biophysics, physiology, reproduction, genetics, behavior, immunology, microbiology, endocrinology, nutrition, environmental science, food science, feed ingredients and feeding, management, housing, welfare, breeding, hatching, production systems, processing, product development, and poultry meat and egg yield and quality.

The journal considers manuscripts that report original experimental studies, integrative reviews, and brief research notes relevant to poultry science. Both fundamental research and studies with practical implications for poultry production, health, welfare, and product quality are within the scope of the journal.

Regional scope

The journal primarily focuses on Korea but welcomes submissions from researchers worldwide.
